Tour was fantastic, just the right amount of time. Pick up and drop off at our hotel was convenient and much appreciated. Tour guide was very informative and was able to answer all questions easily.

Our guide was Sophie. She was personable and well informed. She highlighted the important sights in the palace, and gave us a picture of the historical background of Versailles, both before and after Louis XIV. Our full day trip included lunch, which we enjoyed in an attractive restaurant on the palace grounds.

The tour was excellent. Sylvan our guide was very friendly and knew his subject well. He spent time with each area and fully explained the history for us. It would have been nice to have him share lunch with us. We had just arrived in France and Sylvan gave us a first hand view of how friendly and helpful the French can be. I would recommend ViaTor to friends in the future. Please thank Sylvan for us.

This is a must see Tour, especially if this is your first time in Paris.
The tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly.
I would definately recommend Viator again for First time visitors.

This was an independent tour which was great because you could stay in certain areas longer, like the gardens. Though they are currently renovating part of the gardens it was beautiful!! This is a tour for those who aren't big on tours but want to explore on their own!

Our guide was wonderful, Magid. I can't imagine trying to see all of Versailles without a full day and a guide. He was very interesting and knowledgeable. We had and English and Italian tour and we were nervous about that, but as he explained in our language we could listen and when he explained in the other language we were able to take pictures. It worked very well. Lunch was delicious. We had free time to explore and he walked with us for the rest of the tour and explained interesting details that we would never have known. We were able to relate many of the details he gave to some of our other sights in Paris like the Louvre and Musee d'armee. There were 4 in our family and we all enjoyed the trip. Thank you, Magid!

Impossible to see and enjoy on your own without a knowledgable tour guide to give the history behind each door and area you walk through. Our guide that only tours small groups was pleasant, entertaining and knew the history of this palace and its extensive grounds. Worth the price for full day tour
